Biography

Liam Bennett is a Research Associate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Alberta. He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering. His research focuses on developing practical applications of machine learning and geostatistical methods for remote sensing data, including drone, aerial, and satellite platforms, with an emphasis on forestry, wildfire exposure, wildfire fuel mapping, and wildfire behavior prediction.
